New Delhi: Minister of State for Civil Aviation G.M. Siddeswara informed
the Lok Sabha on Monday that the airport operator of Kempegowda
International Airport, Bengaluru has a plan to construct a second runway
and a new Terminal-2 in line with the traffic projections.
The expenditure and timeline of the project shall depend upon various factors such as appointment of Technical Consultants, preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR), stakeholders consultation in line with the guidelines of Airports Economic Regulatory Authority and approval of various authorities, the minister added.
