Insurance premium prices for India's aviation industry are likely to rise 10% to 20% as global reinsurers hike reinsurance rates, The Hindu Business Line reported. The increase follows a series of global aviation disasters in 2014.
The Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation said the premium increase comes at a time when domestic airlines are forecast to register losses of $1.3 billion to $1.4 billion in 2014-15.
