Mumbai: While security agencies believe the second scribbled Isis threat at the Mumbai airport too might be a prank, security has been beefed up to the maximum with heavy surveillance and more thorough checks on all passengers. The first message on January 6 did not translate into an attack, but security agencies are not taking any chances.
“We are examining all CCTV cameras near the domestic terminal toilet, but pinpointing which person wrote the message on the wall is difficult. We can only hope to single out a person who seems suspicious while walking out of the toilet in the footage. However, that too is not reliable until you know which passenger used the particular washroom cubicle in question,” said an officer from the local Airport police station. “The prankster took advantage of the absence of CCTV cameras in the restroom,” the officer added.
