Low crude to transform aviation dynamics: Ex-DGCA advisor

A massive change is set to take place in India’s aviation sector as a result of the steep decline in crude prices, says Denzil Keelor, Former DGCA Advisor. In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Keelor says Indian airline companies finally have a chance to run their operations profitably even at a 50 percent passenger load.
He says companies should drop fares as it will draw more fliers and boost revenues. Keelor is not impressed by national flag carrier Air India reporting a Rs 14 crore-profit in December.
