The Indian state of Gujarat could become a business aviation hub by 2020, in time for the launch of the brand-new Dholera International airport.
Set up by the state government to strengthen the aviation sector, Gujarat State Aviation Infrastructure (GUJSAIL) facilitates investments in infrastructural development, training and services.
The two-runway facility can be expected to handle commercial aircraft, including the Airbus A380 aircraft, says a GUJSAIL spokesperson on the sidelines of the Aero India airshow.
He adds that the state government has also already set up a brand-new MRO company to cater for business aviation aircraft.
