New Delhi: Members of Parliament want a nodal officer from paramilitary forces at every airport to extend "courtesy and care" to them. They also want "behaviour sensitization" of employees at toll plazas on national highways, many of whom show "lack of civility" and show "callousness attitude".
These are in the agenda of the next House committee meeting scheduled for Monday. The parliamentary panel is responsible for allotting accommodation and take care of facilities for MPs.
According to the agenda of the meeting, the panel members would raise the issue of misbehaviour by employees and attendants at the toll plazas on NHs.
"We are taking up the two issues of inconvenience to the MPs at airports and toll plazas since there have been several generic complaints. We want that there should be no 'avoidable inconvenience' and we are not seeking anything 'out of turn' facility, but something that is well within the purview on the laid down norms," said a member of the panel.
