Passengers created ruckus at Indore airport, after Jet Airways flight for Mumbai gets delayed

Indore:  Around 100 passengers created ruckus at Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport, Indore on Thursday, when their Mumbai-bound Jet-flight got delayed by more than eight hours.

According to the airport officials Jet Airways flight S2 4056 for Mumbai which was to depart at 8.20 am grounded at the Indore airport owing to technical snag. "As the morning flight was grounded the schedule for the next flights got affected.
Therefore Jet Airways' afternoon flight S2 4384, which was scheduled to depart at 12.30 pm was rescheduled to depart by 9 pm," informed the airport official.

Meanwhile, the passengers at the airport created ruckus for not providing them proper information about the delay. Priya Goyal, a passenger said, "I had a flight to catch from Mumbai to Bangalore which I missed. The airlines officials never cared to provide us with full information about the flight status. Therefore I had to cancel my flight for Mumbai and immediately booked a flight for Bangalore directly."
