Gold worth Rs 1.5 crore was seized by Directorate of Revenue Intelligence from two persons who arrived at the international airport here from Dubai, airport officials said on Sunday.
Acting on a tip off, the DRI officials intercepted Mohammed Rafi and Mohammed Ansari, arriving from Dubai by an early Emirates flight. A search revealed 1.8 kg of gold concealed inside their luggage.
