New Delhi: SpiceJet has come up with its third sale in ten days — this time, a two-day offer with fares starting at Rs 1,899 for travel this month.
While fliers can look for tickets on Saturday and Sunday, they can book it for travel from Saturday to February 28. The ‘FebHurry Sale’ is for limited seats and the offer is available on a first-come-first-served (FCFS) basis. “This sale offer is a rare offer for immediate travel,” the airline said.
This is the third sale by SpiceJet since January 28.Suresh John, founder and CEO of RoomsTonite, a mobile-based last minute hotel booking app, said this is a “new trend” in the Indian aviation sector that has been launched by SpiceJet. “This is a flash sale in a true sense,” he said.
Vinay Gupta, founder and CEO of holiday booking firm TripFactory.com, said airline discounts have always favoured advanced ticket bookings.
