After SpiceJet, Jet Airways Offers Discounts on International Routes

Budget carrier SpiceJet has triggered a airfare war yet again, however this time on international skies.
Domestic carrier Jet Airways on Saturday introduced a new scheme, offering up to 25 per cent discount on premiere and economy fares from India to Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong and Singapore.

To avail this scheme, tickets must be purchased between March 21 and March 22 and the travel must commence between June 16 and November 3. The scheme is valid only for return journey, said the airline's website.
So far this year, many domestic carriers have announced a series of discounted ticket schemes to attract customers in the January-March and July-September quarters, which are traditionally considered a low-travel demand period.
However, it seems now the focus of these airlines has shifted to the overseas routes.
