Mumbai: Two top-level Independent Representatives (IRs) belonging to the marketing firm, QNet, were detained at the Indira Gandhi International airport in New Delhi and brought to Mumbai on Wednesday evening. The two will be later arrested in the Rs 425 crore cheating case.
Those detained include Sandeep Kalra (35), a Delhi resident, and Hitesh Miglani (36), a Bangalore resident. "Both returned from Dubai on Tuesday night and were intercepted by the Immigration authorities following a Mumbai economic offences wing's (EOW) look-out circular (LOC) notice against their names. The Immigration authorities informed us and we brought them here. The will be produced in the court on Thursday," said a police officer. Police inspector Nikhil Kapse is the chief investigating officer in this case where over two lakh investors have been duped. The two have got lakhs of rupees as commission for making new IRs and duping people, said police.
