Airports Authority of India (AAI) has issued a duty free tender for Kolkata Airport’s new integrated Terminal 2.
The opportunity cover s a 600sq m space, with a three-year contract on offer. The categories covered are liquor, tobacco, beauty, confectionery, watches & jewellery, electronics and Indian-manufactured goods permitted by Customs.
The winner will pay the higher of a percentage revenue share or Minimum Guarantee. The Minimum Monthly Guarantee is US$300,000 and the percentage of monthly net sales must be higher than 13%.
The Airports Authority has adopted a single stage selection process to evaluate both financial and technical proposals. Qualified bidders that make it through the technical stage will be short-listed and then a winner chosen based on the financial offers.
