A GoAir Kolkata-Guwahati flight, with about 164 passengers onboard, was hit by a bird during take-off at the NSC Bose International airport in Kolkata on Thursday.
A senior airport official said, the Guwahati-bound aircraft was proceeding from the taxi bay to the runway when a small bird hit the engine.
