Mueller moves to allay Malaysia Airlines fears following administrator appointment

Christoph Mueller, chief executive of Malaysian Airline System Berhad and CEO-designate of the new airline, Malaysia Airlines Berhad (MAB), has assured customers MAS operations will continue as normal with the appointment of the administrator.
Malaysia Airlines remains continues to implement a restructuring plan which will see it cut upward of a third of its workforce in an effort to recover after two plane tragedies last year.
The carrier was battered by an avalanche of negative publicity last year after the mysterious disappearance of flight MH370 and the shooting down of MH17 over Ukraine.
Commenting on the appointment of an administrator to oversee the restructuring process Mueller stated: “I assure you our operations are very much business as usual.
