Airport land compensation to be fixed

Mumbai: A committee set up under the Konkan divisional commissioner will decide on compensation to the Tata Hydro Power Electricity Company and the owners of various constructions on the public works department land.


The compensation is to be paid for the land acquired for the Navi Mumbai International airport. Tata had acquired 17.33 hectares of land for its transmission towers at Kopar and Koli (Pargaon). The constructions on PWD land are at Waghivli abutting the road.
