Aviation regulator DGCA has not come across a single instance of
submission of fake documents for obtaining pilot's licence in the last
three years, Government said today.
However, 19 cases of fudging of flyers hours for obtaining a trainee pilot's licence during 2010-11 are being probed by the anti-corruption bureau of Rajasthan, Minister of State for Civil Aviation Mahesh Sharma told Lok Sabha.
In addition 17 more cases were found in 2011 where pilots had obtained licences on the basis of fake Central Examination Organisation marks sheet, the Minister said.
