Vistara unveils Aviation Security Training Institute in Gurgaon

Mumbai: Vistara has announced the establishment of its ‘Aviation Security Training Institute (ASTI)’, which has received the approval of Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS), Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), Government of India. The training institute was inaugurated yesterday at the airline’s headquarters in Gurgaon by B B Dash, Acting Commissioner, BCAS, and G Asok Kumar, Joint Secretary, MoCA, in the presence of Phee Teik Yeoh, CEO, Vistara, and the management of the airline.


Vistara has been authorised by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to conduct aviation security training for its security staff, cockpit and cabin crew, or personnel of all stakeholders, covering security areas at airports. This institute is also authorised and equipped to provide training to other airlines for the security requirements as per regulatory guidelines.
