Actors Tarun Khanna and Vivana Singh, who were going to Lucknow to
promote their upcoming show 'Police Factory', were detained at the
Mumbai airport yesterday.
Since they are playing policemen in the show, they were carrying fake revolvers due to which they got detained by security officials. Tarun said, "We were thoroughly checked and stripped to find out if we were carrying any concealed weapons. We tried telling them about our show and that we were actors but they continued with the check.
It was an embarrassing situation but understand the security discipline. In fact Vivana's father is a cop, but today we had to undergo whatever they asked for. Finally they let us go after finding out that these were just plastic revolvers."
