New Delhi: After getting its branding both inside and outside Delhi airport terminal, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) now wants its logo over the airport's boundary walls too.
The state-run airports authority had in December asked GMR Group-led Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL), the company that runs the Delhi airport, to put AAI's branding on the boundary walls of the Delhi airport. At present, the boundary walls have GMR inscribed on them.
"We have sent a letter to Delhi again this time. We want our branding, along with GMR's on the boundary walls of the airport," an AAI official told ET.
DIAL said it has started work on providing AAI branding on the airport's boundary walls, but analysts ET spoke to felt there is no justification for AAI to seek branding at an airport that is on lease to a private company.
