Surat: Passengers bound to Surat from Delhi had a tough time after Air India (AI) CRJ flight was cancelled due to some technical snag on Saturday. More than 50 passengers coming to Surat were left in the lurch after AI announced cancellation of the flight.
Municipal commissioner Milind Torawane was among the passengers who had to return from the airport after the flight to Surat was cancelled.
"While I was boarding at the airport at 7:30am, it was announced that due to some technical snag the flight to Surat was cancelled. I had gone for an important meeting and was returning," said Torawane.
