Pune: A glider landed in an emergency situation at Hadapsar Gliding Centre on Wednesday afternoon. No one was injured in the incident.
The gliding centre instructor Captain Shailesh Charbhe told TOI that a pilot was on gliding sortie and was forced to land. "It was a safe landing. Nothing major," he said.
The craft sustained minor damages in the incident. The glider landed in the centre's premises near the take-off and landing strip.
"Only the pilot was manoeuvring the craft and students were not present on the campus at the time of the incident," he said.
