Jin Air signed further contracts and Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with Hawaii’s regional airline Island Air, Cambodia’s national airline Cambodia Angkor Air and Laos’ national airline Lao Airlines to expand its flight routes with international carriers. Jin Air also concluded its first interline contract with Jetstar Group in April.
Interline agreement is a partnership between airlines which both parties can link and sell their flight routes collectively. Partnering airlines handle their flight tickets together with their counterparts’ tickets or tour packages starting from the initial reservation stage. This allows both airlines to benefit from the expanded flight network brought by the agreement.
