The East African nation of Kenya regards India as an important source market. In the calendar year 2015, India has emerged as the third largest tourist source market for Kenya with a total share of 6.6% of the total arrivals. “India remains the largest source market in Asia.
In 2016, we are expecting double-digit growth with various incentives announced by the Government of Kenya. India and Kenya has a lot of historical connection and it is easy for Indians to connect with the destination Kenya,” said Chiranjib Biswas, Destination Manager, Kenya Tourism Board.
