New Delhi: Budget carrier SpiceJet has tied up with online car rental start-up, Mytaxiindia.com (MTI) for a better connectivity from airports to cities.
With the road connectivity of airport with tier II cities not being fully developed, this tie-up offers passengers the facility to book a taxi to reach the airport or the decided destination from airport, while purchasing the ticket.
The online car rental portal provides hatchbacks, sedans and SUVs for taxi bookings with flexible payment options. This facility will be available in Delhi/NCR region. The cost of booking the cab will be inclusive in the ticket, thus, adding to the benefit of travelers from Tier II and III cities.
According to Mytaxiindia.com, this initiative will help support Modi government’s efforts to boost regional air connectivity.
