Mumbai Airport adds new Aaswad restaurant to dining offer

Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) has opened a new restaurant, called Aaswad, at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) Terminal 2. The outlet, located at Domestic Departures, offers cuisine from the Maharashtra region of India. Its menu comprises popular local dishes such as Misal Pav, a breakfast dish voted the ‘World’s Tastiest Vegetarian Dish’ at Foodie Hub Awards held in London.

MIAL said Aaswad boasts the highest number of takeaway sales of all the restaurants at the airport. Its popularity has prompted plans for a further outlet in International Departures.
