Airport Authority of India (AAI) inaugurated a new integrated terminal building at Vadodara airport, whereas at Vijayawada airport, there was a ceremony conducted for the runaway which is suppose to strengthen and extend runway there.
In Vijayawada airport, Chandrababu Naidu, chief minister of Andhra Pradesh; M Venkaiah Naidu, union minister of parliamentary affairs, urban development, housing & urban poverty alleviation; P Ashok Gajapathi Raju, union minister of civil aviation; Bandaru Dattatreya, Union Minister of State of Labour & Employment, were present on the occasion.
Others present on the occasion include Y S Chowdary, union minister of state for earth sciences, science & technology; R N Choubey, secretary (CA); Guruprasad Mohapatra, chairman, AAI and other dignitaries.
