Dhaka: Bangladesh Customs has seized a huge amount of Indian currency worth Tk 69,57,000 at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka. A person named Md Akram, has arrested.
Arrestee hailed from Munshiganj, landed in Dhaka by a flight no PK-0266 from Pakistan.
Assistant Director of Customs Intelligence, Ayesha Akhter, told the media at a press briefing at the airport that “On suspicion, customs officials held him while he was in the green channel of the airport.”
