Ranchi: Air security went into a tizzy on Monday at Ranchi airport after getting a call that there was a bomb in a Delhi-bound flight, which was later found to be a hoax call.
A passenger, who had missed the Ranchi-New Delhi flight and made the call, was arrested from the airport later.
According to sources, the passenger, a swimming coach, had missed the fight by a few minutes, and called up Mumbai call centre of the national carrier at 1505 hrs claiming that there was a bomb on the flight.
The flight which had taken off five minutes back at 1500 hours was called back to Ranchi and taken to isolation bay, the sources said.
