With increasing instances of fraudsters cheating unsuspecting buyers by attempting to fraudulently sell properties of national carrier Air India, the airline has now warned the general public against getting into any contract with such people.
What advisory has AI issued?
The airline, through an advertisement in newspapers, has said it is must that buyers get in touch with its Properties and Facilities department for purchasing any property belonging to AI.
The advertisement also listed cell phone numbers of the officials to be contacted for the same.
"Fraudsters purporting to be employees or agents of Air India are offering certain properties belonging to the airline for sale through letters and advertisement," warned AI's advertisement.
