Mumbai: The Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) of Mumbai Customs has arrested a hospital administrator along with his wife and detained their minor daughter while they were trying to smuggle gold worth Rs 1.32 crore at international airport on Friday.
The Customs officers stated that the father is an administrator in hospital in Saudi Arabia and his daughter is studying in class 9th. He was traveling along with his wife and the daughter Riyadh by Saudi Airlines. The two female had concealed the 47 gold bars weighing 5.4 kg under their undergarments. The family is Indian citizen and they have residence visa of Saudi Arabia. They arrested accused confessed that they had smuggled golds at five occasions earlier to their arrest. 03/04/15 Vijay Singh/Times of India
