New Delhi: Passengers flying with IndiGo will have to report to airport earlier till January 31 as the low cost carrier will close its check-in counters an hour before flight departure time instead of the regular 45 minutes. This essentially means flyers will have to reach airport about one-and-a-half hours before departure time to check-in.
IndiGo's move comes a week after Air India asked passengers to report to airports much earlier due to enhanced security measures at airports that has increased boarding time. The airline hopes that the "early arrival of passengers will enable seamless and hassle-free checking, security and boarding process."
