Air India eyes new service from Madinah to Indian cities

India ’s national carrier, Air India operates 42 services from Saudi Arabia to India including the services of its subsidiary company ‘Air India Express’ which operates 7 flights from Dammam to Indian destinations.

Air India operates 14 services weekly each from Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam.
The Indian subcontinent is a potential market for all the regional airlines in Asia, Gulf and Middle East region, and Air India serves as major carrier connecting Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam with all major Indian cities.


“Air India, established in 1932, is now flying with 135 strong fleet including 21 Dreamliners, the world’s latest jet. We fly to 39 international and 69 domestic destinations in India,” said Air India’s Western Province, Manager M.A. Noor Mohamed. “The international network is spread over the globe from India to Australia, South East Asia, Far East, Middle East, Europe, UK and North America,” he added.

“We are a member of Star Alliance, a mega airline alliance in the globe which benefit access of our passengers to 1,330 destinations in 192 countries and to enable them to use more than 1000 lounges across the globe” he said.
