Panaji: In an important milestone on the prestigious 3,000 crore Mopa airport project, the state government has now begin scrutiny of technical bids submitted by five companies.
The five companies who submitted their technical bids are GMR, GVK, Airports Authority of India, Essel Infra and Voluptas Developers. The last two have tied up with foreign partners— Essel Infra with Zurich Airports and Voluptas Developers with Vinci Airports, Rome.
All five bidders on monday witnessed the opening of the technical bids in the presence of a six-member technical evaluation committee under the chairmanship of the chief secretary.
The technical bids will now be evaluated and marks (out of 100) will be given to the bidders.
