Jaipur: Here is good news for the business class of the state capital here who has to bank on Mumbai and Delhi to get flights for their destinations including Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. A leading private airline has applied for permission to the Director General Civil Aviation (DGCA) to operate flights between Jaipur and Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. Authorities at the Airports Authority of India (AAI), Jaipur, also confirmed that after a nod from the DGCA, Jaipur airport is ready to get these flights operated by this summer.
According to sources, a leading airline has already applied to the DGCA for its nod and in a month or two, the permission will be granted. "There are a few formalities including a survey to access the passenger's load are left. After this, the permission would be granted," said an officer with AAI, Jaipur, on Wednesday.
