The Indian embassy in Kabul rejected reports that the Indian airline –
SpiceJet aircraft was the target of the rocket attack in Kabul airport.
“We have seen reports in the media on an Indian aircraft being the possible target of the rocket attack on Kabul Airport on 3 July,” the embassy said following a statement.
The statement furhter added that there is no evidence to suggest such a hypothesis even though a Spice Jet aircraft was boarding passengers for departure.
“The attack was targeted at the military side of the airport which is across the runway at the far end,” the statement added.
