AirAsia India has signed a USD45million agreement with parent, AirAsia
concerning the longterm lease of its second A320-200, VH-A. The AirAsia
Group said leasing aircraft to other joint venture airlines within the
Group "would help to maximise route opportunities in South Asia."
"The term of the agreement shall be for 144 months and AirAsia India shall pay a security deposit in the form of cash or a letter of credit," a statement to the Malaysia Borsa said.
