Visakhapatnam: The Port City will get more air connectivity from March 28 as several airlines plan to introduce their service to various destinations across the country.
Vizag will have eight services to Hyderabad, three services to Chennai, four services to Mumbai and Bengalore, two services to Bhubaneswar and one service each to Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Trivandrum.
Indigo airlines, Spice Jet and AirAsia will operate these services. Spice Jet is reviving its Mumbai-Vizag-Hyderabad-Delhi-Hyderabad-Vizag-Hyderabad-Mumbai flight service.
AirAsia will run a new service between Bengaluru and Vizag from April 27.
According to Air Travellers' Association (India) president D Varada Reddy, Indigo airlines will introduce Ahmedabad-Hyderabad-Vizag-Chennai-Trivandrum flight from March 28.
