Hyderabad: Vistara Airlines of the Tata group has also expressed interest in expanding its services with Hyderabad as its centre of operations. The CEO of Vistara Airlines, Phee Teik Yeoh, formally met Minister for Panchayat Raj and Information Technology K.T. Rama Rao, and discussed the prospects of using the infrastructure of Hyderabad Airport exhaustively.
Mr. Rao informed Mr. Yeoh that the airport had achieved 20 per cent growth in passenger turnout, which will work to the benefit of new entrants such as Vistara. He recalled that many subsidiaries of Tata group were working with Hyderabad as the centre of operations.
