BENGALURU: Low-cost carrier Air Pegasus today said it is planning to
soon connect Chennai, Hyderabad, Tuticorin and Puducherry from
Bengaluru.
Since its inception, it has connected Bengaluru to the four cities of Hubli, Trivandrum, Madurai, Kadapa and flying over 30,000 passengers with an ontime performance rate of 94 per cent (99 per cent in June), the company said in a release.
"To serve the increasing number of sectors, we intend to lease in three more aircrafts (ATR aircrafts with 66 seats) in the next six months, taking our fleet size to five," Air Pegasus Managing Director Shyson Thomas said.
"Apart from being a lean and mean model airline, we have been also been able to attract aircraft at an attractive lease rate and hence have been able to pass on the benefit to our passengers," he said.
