Panaji: Work began in full swing to repair the damaged portion of the false ceiling at the Goa International Airport, Dabolim, with Consolidated Construction Consortium, the company that designed and built the new terminal also undertaking an inspection of the entire false ceiling, airport director Srinivasa Rao said. "Work began this morning and we are determined to see that it won`t happen again," Rao said. On Saturday, nearly 80 feet of false ceiling, reportedly perforated metal, collapsed in the security hold area, injuring two passengers. A team of consultants from Consolidated Construction Consortium, including one of the directors, flew in from Chennai to inspect the damage and oversee the repair works, Rao said.
