Kannur: Kannur’s wait to figure on the international aviation map will
soon be over. If everything goes as planned, the first flight would land
on the brand new runway at Moorkhanparambu in December.
About thousand workers, including technical experts, are working on a war-footing to meet the deadline at the site located in Keezhallur panchayat in Mattannur municipality. The period between August and December is going to be crucial in completing the construction of the airport.
The coming days would witness a flurry of activities as everyone involved in the mega project will be committed to reach the finishing point by December, which is the deadline set by the government.
