NASHIK: A day after MEHAIR suspended its Nashik-Pune air service, private airliner company Shrinivas Airlines on Sunday announced operation of its flights between Mumbai and Nashik from Monday.
Officials of the company said plans were afoot to start Nashik-Pune and Nashik-Surat flights from July 22 and the schedules would be announced within the next four days. The Maritime Energy Heli Air Services Pvt Ltd's (MEHAIR) decision to suspend its flight services between Pune and Nashik came as blow to the North Maharashtra city that is trying to return to the country's aviation map after over five years

Shrinivas Airlines officials said the first flight to Nashik from Mumbai will take off at 9.30 am from Juhu and land at Ozar airport at 10 am on Monday. From Nashik, the return flight will take off at 4.30 pm and reach Mumbai at 5 pm. From Tuesday, there will be two flights a day in morning and evening shifts. The six-sweater C-90 aircraft will take off at 8 am from Juhu (Mumbai) and reach Ozar airport (Nashik) at 8.30am. From Nashik, the flight will take off at 9.00 am and reach Mumbai at 9.30 am. The second flight from Mumbai will take off at 3.30 pm and reach Nashik at 4.00 pm. The flight will depart Nashik at 4.30 pm and reach Mumbai at 5 pm.
