Chennai: A Andaman and Nicobar Islands bound Air India plane with 75 passengers on board today had to abort take-off after pilot detected a "deflated" tyre while taxiing at the airport here.
The pilot of the flight, scheduled to leave for Port Blair around 11 am, was taxiing it when he noticed that one of the rear wheels had deflated, an Air India official said.
Immediately the aircraft was taken to a parking bay and passengers embarked safely.
