Chennai: A Chennai-Port Blair Air India flight was delayed after one of the tyres of the plane burst just before takeoff from the airport here on Monday morning.
The plane with 75 passengers on board was taxiing to the runway for takeoff at 10.20am when the tyre burst. The plane, which had been stranded at the taxiway near the runway for close to half an hour, was later towed to the parking bay.
