Mumbai: Passengers hiring popular taxi services like Uber and Ola to and from Mumbai airport will now have to pay Rs110 extra. The airport authorities have recently started levying this amount on these vehicles.
Earlier, these app-based cabs parked themselves inside the airport premises and congested the area. Even then, it was not easy for passengers to get an Uber or Ola near the airport as the security staff would drive them out to clear the congestion. The passengers were then forced to walk for a distance in order to board their hired cabs.
