Kozhikode: From September 1, Air India’s flight (AI-657/658) from Delhi
will not touch down at Kozhikode. Air India has been operating this
service in the Delhi- Mumbai- Coimbatore- Kozhikode sector.The airline’s
office in Kozhikode said in a release on Monday that the flight would
not touch Kozhikode because of “non-availability of runway”.
An official source said the pullout was because of the works to re-carpet the runway, indicating that the flight would not be operated up to Kozhikode till the works were completed.It would be operated only in the Delhi- Mumbai- Coimbatore sector.Air India also released a fresh schedule of its express flights to various destinations, which will be effective from September 1 to October 24.
