SAAC to hold dharna if Air India fails to fly Airbus from Oct 1

The Surat Airport Action Committee (SAAC) has threatened to hold dharna programme at the airport premise if Air India fail to start its promised Airbus on October 1.
The decision was taken by the members of SAAC on Sunday to press the Air India to start booking for its promised Airbus service between Delhi and Surat starting from October 1.
As October 1 nears, Surtis are becoming impatient with the Air India yet to open up the booking for the Airbus.

The Facebook pages of the We Want Working Airport at Surat (WWWAS) and Surat Airport Action Committee (SAAC) have been flooded with messages from the harried residents and group members eagerly waiting for the official flying schedule of Airbus between Delhi and Surat from October.
