Panaji: National civil aviation policy is being formulated, and will be
announced soon, said Union Minister of Aviation Ashok Ganapati Raju
Pusapati on Tuesday.
The government will be consulting all the stakeholders before finalising the policy, he said, adding the policy will address most of the issues facing the airlines industry.
The Union Minister of Aviation was speaking at the one-day Aviation ICT Forum 2015 in the presence of Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar and other stalwarts of the aviation industry including Captain G R Gopinath, founder and CEO, Deccan Aviation; Jihad Bouri, vice president, Airport Solutions SITA, Manish Jaikrishna, SITA vice president, Cramer Bell, CEO, Jet Airways and others.
Parsekar inaugurated two-day conference of Aviation ICT Forum – 2015, organised by SITA, a leading company specialised in air transport communications and IT solutions, at Bambolim.
