Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, today announced the appointment of Rahul Taneja as Chief People Officer.
Mr. Taneja, 47, has over 25 years of experience in diverse industry sectors and has worked in HR leadership positions across leading Indian and international companies.
As Chief People Officer of Jet Airways, Mr. Taneja will be responsible for shaping the operations and performance of the Group. He will join the Executive Management Committee that has been tasked by the Board of Directors of Jet Airways to drive the company’s growth and future strategy.
Mr Taneja previously headed Corporate Human Resources at Essar Group, an Energy, Metals & Mining, Infrastructure and Services multinational corporation. At Essar, he spearheaded the strategic re-design of the organisation and led the HR function for global operations across all business portfolios.
