Visakhapatnam: Visakhapatnam Member of Parliament Kambhampati Haribabu has sent a proposal to the Ministry of Home and the Ministry of External Affairs seeking the introduction of e-Tourist Visa on Arrival and Tourist Visa on Arrival (TVOA) for foreign nationals at Visakhapatnam International Airport.
On a representation submitted given by the Tours and Travels Association of Andhra Chairman O. Naresh Kumar and President K. Vijay Mohan, the MP sent the proposal to both the Ministries seeking early introduction of the e-TVOA and TVOA to boost tourism in Visakhapatnam and Andhra Pradesh. The e-Tourist Visa allows arrival for people from 147 countries at the following 16 airports in India - Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Gaya, Goa, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Tiruchi, Varanasi.
